And when Jesus entered Peter’s house, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and began to serve Him.
Throughout the New Testament we see lives transformed by the healing touch of Jesus. Wherever we look we see those He has healed serving. Jesus said, “…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many,” Mark 10:45. Jesus also told us “…if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him,” John 12:26.
We follow in the steps of Jesus daily as we serve Him in our church community, in our families, in our neighborhoods, and around the world. If you have met Him and accepted the sacrifice He made to redeem you from death, you are qualified to join in His work. Together we will discover His plan for you as a vital part of His Body – the Church. You will be amazed at the joy you experience and how you grow in maturity while you pour your life into others in service of the risen Lord.
