Starting, Sunday, August 17, Route 56 is our new ministry exclusively for those in grades 5 and 6! The preteen years are exciting and demanding as children begin to chart their course down the road of life. Route56 is a roadmap based on faith in God and teaching from the Bible.
Sunday School

Sundays, 9:00-10:15 am
Building 8, upstairs
Our Route 56 Preteen Ministry is using a Sunday School curriculum called Grapple. In each lesson, preteens will dig into the Bible to grapple with faith and life issues from
Why Can't We All Just Get Along? to Who is Jesus?
Each Sunday morning begins with preteens enjoying music, food and fellowship as they spend time getting to know each other. Grapple Time is a leader-led experience for the entire class where kids dig into the Bible for answers. Kids then get into their Grapple Time small groups (determined by grade and sex) to dig even deeper into God's Word. We finish out the morning by challenging preteens with a weekly Grapple Dare to live out their faith during the coming week.
Grapple also allows preteens to communicate with church friends in a safe on-line community. Each kid can post God sightings, play games, send prayer requests and messages to each other and their leaders through the Village mygrapple.com website at
http://www.mygrapple.com. NOTE: Parent approval is required. Contact Kara Preston at 850.837.8107 for additional details.
