Wow! That is what our Missions Ministry is all about. Village seeks to be a mission-driven church, by believing that every member is a minister and has a story to share about the great things of God. You can be a missionary right in your own neighborhood, making an eternal difference in the lives of people who live all around you, by being a light that shines for Jesus. A mission-driven church is centered around "being" and "doing." Being mission-driven means that we understand that every member is "sent". Missions is therefore participative rather than simply representative. At Village, we perceive missions as the essence of the church rather than the expression of the church.
Answering God's call to missions may even take you across the sea. Our international mission is carried out by prayer, giving and going. Village supports seven different career missionaries in several countries. Through short term over seas mission trips, we offer opportunities for our members to be involved in carrying out the Great Commission.
