We all want to change something in our lives. But no matter what it is, actually changing is never an easy thing to do. So often, we are held back from making lasting change because of our circumstances, our past, or the times we’ve messed up. But if we truly want to change, we need to begin letting go of some of those things. Today we will look at an encounter between Jesus and a woman who desperately wanted to change. Through their interaction, we learn that lasting change comes when we finally let go of some things and begin taking hold of Jesus. |

END YOUR EFFORTS
So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around Him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch His clothes, I will be healed.’ Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering."
