God’s desire for His followers is that they will be new people. Not just saved people but people who have truly surrendered their lives to His direction. A recent survey of one of America’s largest churches revealed heavy involvement in church programs and activities does not necessarily translate into spiritual growth. What we need is not therapy but transformation. Today is the first installment in preparation for the six week teaching series, ineed2change! As God speaks to your heart today may you too lay down your arms and surrender unto Him!

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
